The Mission:

The PBY Catalina Foundation is a California Nonprofit Corporation designated a 501.c3 (nonprofit - education) by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Its primary objectives and purposes are the following:
  • A) To collect, restore and operate PBY Catalina aircraft;
  • B) To educate and inform the public of the origin, usage, history and importance of the PBYs and other W. W. II aircraft through public forums, lectures, historical research, documentation, literature, and film and video productions;
  • C) To establish an aviation history museum for the community’s enjoyment and education with emphasis on the PBY and their gallant aviators;
  • D) To honor and support the needs of the homeless veterans through additional community education and fund-raising efforts.
